How to Export Chat Images, Videos, Files and Links in One ZIP

Learn how to export chat messages, images, videos, documents and links into separate ZIP folders with CSV, text and a detailed report.

What All Download creates

The All Download workflow is for people who need more than a readable PDF. It creates a structured ZIP backup containing message text, spreadsheet data, detected media, downloadable documents, links and a detailed export report.

Safe example: use the interactive demo to generate a local ZIP from 100 sample messages, or download the prepared sample archive.

ZIP folder structure

documents/pdf/
documents/txt/
documents/other/
links/links.txt
reports/export_report.txt

Messages and spreadsheet data

The text file provides a readable chronological backup. The CSV file separates sender, date, time, message type and content so the conversation can be filtered or reviewed in Excel and other spreadsheet tools.

Images, videos and documents

Detected downloadable items are placed into separate folders. PDF, text/data and other document types are organized separately so a large client or personal archive is easier to review.

Links and duplicate reporting

The links file preserves detected URLs in chat order. The report can summarize unique links, duplicate occurrences and items that could not be downloaded.

Large-chat safety

Part-by-part processing is designed to reduce browser memory pressure. Very large or inaccessible files may be skipped safely and listed in the report instead of stopping the whole export.

How to create a complete chat backup

  1. Open the supported conversation in Chrome.
  2. Refresh Chat Exporter Pro so the current chat is detected.
  3. Run Auto Scan to track the available history.
  4. Review the message, media, file and link counters.
  5. Choose All Download and save the generated ZIP parts.
