Images are useful when a PDF needs a logo, screenshot, reference picture or other visual element. The key is to place the image without covering important source content.
Prepare the image before insertion
Use a clean source image with enough resolution for the size it will occupy on the PDF page. Very small images can become blurry when enlarged.
If the image contains sensitive information, remove unnecessary details before inserting it.
Insert, move and resize
Open the target page, choose the Image tool and add the file. Position it, then resize the object so it fits the surrounding layout.
Use the editor controls to keep the image inside page boundaries and away from text that needs to remain readable.
Common uses for inserted images
A business PDF may need a logo or product image. A project report may need a screenshot. A review copy may need a visual reference beside an existing paragraph.
For signatures or official marks, follow the rules of the organization receiving the document; inserting a picture of a signature is not automatically equivalent to a digital signature.
Review the exported PDF
Open the final PDF and zoom in on the inserted image. Confirm that it is not clipped, stretched or unexpectedly covering content. Keep the original file so the edited version can be recreated if necessary.
Quick workflow
- Open PDF Studio and add the source files.
- Preview the page positions and choose the exact tool or page range you need.
- Build the output, review the order and generate the PDF or ZIP.
- Open the downloaded result and verify it before deleting the temporary workspace.
